Waterville, ME – Thomas College Athletics is proud to welcome back Josh Stetson now as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach/Assistant Athletic Trainer.
Stetson was previously a part of our community from 2020-2021 as a Temporary Athletic Trainer during the height of Covid-19 protocols. Since the Fall of 2021 Stetson has been at Husson University serving as an Athletic Trainer, primarily for Soccer, Field Hockey, and Lacrosse.
"I'm ecstatic for this opportunity to help Thomas College athletes unlock performance potential and improve durability. I hope to drastically reduce our number of injuries, to be a part of many conference championships and to instill habits and knowledge through Thomas athletes which will benefit them for the rest of their lives," said Stetson.
"We are beyond excited to welcome Josh back to Thomas" says Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics, Christopher Parsons. "During the short time he was here at Thomas Josh, made such an impact on our student-athletes, I am excited to see the huge impact he will make on them with the new strength and conditioning program."
Stetson has formerly served seven years as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army. He then went on to obtain a bachelor's degree in athletic training from the University of Southern Maine. Then from 2020-2021 he became a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Stetson will be starting at Thomas College on January 4
