ELLENSBURG, Wash. – Central Washington University athletics and head football coach
Chris Fisk have agreed to a contract extension through the 2025 season. Fisk led the Wildcats to a 6-4 record and a successful transition to the Lone Star Conference nabbing second place after undefeated Angelo State, and included a 23-19 upset of the 20
th ranked Texas A&M-Kingsville Javelinas in Tomlinson Stadium. Fisk has also guided the Wildcats to the programs 11
th GNAC Championship in 2021 as well as a return to the NCAA playoffs following a five-year hiatus for the Wildcats. Overall, Fisk has accumulated a 21-12 record over the span of four seasons as the Wildcats head coach.
"Coach Fisk has done an excellent job in leading our football program over the last four years," CWU Director of Athletics Dr. Dennis Francois said. "We know that continuity in our program is important, and Coach Fisk has shown that our football student-athletes can achieve success in competition as well as in the classroom. This contract extension recognizes both his commitment to Wildcat Football as well as our commitment to him and his leadership of our program."
