Acasio Roche Named Pfeiffer University Women's Soccer Coach
Misenheimer, N.C. (Aug. 8, 2023) – Pfeiffer University Athletics has selected Acasio Roche, III as the next head coach to lead the Falcon women's soccer program.
Roche comes to The Village after serving as a volunteer assistant coach at Division II University of Wisconsin-Parkside from 2020-2022
Prior to his stint with the Rangers, he was on the staff at Division III Carroll University in Waukesha, Wis., where he served as the women's assistant coach from 2015-2019 and as the men's assistant coach in 2018 and 2019.
In his five seasons serving the women's program at Carroll, the Pioneers went 56-27-13, won a conference tournament and made an appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament. During his first season with the men's program, the team recorded a 3-13-2 season followed by a much-improved record of 7-10-0 in season two.Â
Before coaching at the collegiate level, Acasio served as head girls' soccer coach at Franklin High School in the Milwaukee suburb of Franklin, Wisconsin for five years posting an overall record of 52-31-10, winning a pair of regional championships. At the club level he has spent 19 years working for the Croatian Eagles Soccer Club in Franklin, Wis., where he served as coach, Academy Director, and Co-Vice President in charge of youth operations.
A native to Milwaukee, Roche retired after 23 years of service from the Milwaukee Fire Department.
Acasio holds a USSF National D license and earned his undergraduate degree in sports coaching from the United States Sports Academy in Daphne, Alabama. He is married to his wife Marit and has three children, Megan, Acasio Roche, IV, and Bailey.Â
