DE PERE – St. Norbert College and Prevea Health renewed their sports medicine agreement for St. Norbert Athletics, announced St. Norbert athletics director Cam Fuller and Prevea Health President and CEO Dr. Ashok Rai.
 
The agreement continues a long-standing partnership in providing physician and athletic training care for more than 600 student-athletes in 23 St. Norbert sports.
 
"Prevea Health has been a longtime partner of St. Norbert College athletics and we are excited to embark on a new partnership that furthers the experience for our programs and student-athletes," Fuller said. "This partnership impacts our commitment to the community as we pursue our four pillars for success - academics, athletics, community and student-athlete experience."
 
Prevea's services consist of family medicine and sports medicine physicians, orthopedic surgeons and certified/licensed athletic trainers.
 
"Our growing team of sports medicine physicians allows us to care for a range of athletes on youth, collegiate and even professional levels," Rai said. "We are honored to be a part of these athletes' journeys and a proud partner of St. Norbert College."
 
St. Norbert opens the 2023-24 athletics calendar on Sept. 1. Its first home events are on Sept. 2 when it hosts the Tom Barry Cross Country Invitational at UW-Green Bay and Ripon College in football at Schneider Stadium.
