Mike Vigue joined Charleston Southern in August 2023 as the Associate Athletic Director for External Operations and will be a member of the Athletics’ Senior Staff Leadership. Vigue brings over 12 years of athletics administration experience with him to the Buccaneers athletics department.
In his role with CSU, he will be responsible for the development and facilitation of operations for the Buc Club and corporate sponsorships. With the Buc Club, Vigue will be coordinator for the annual Buc Club Golf Tournament, manage the donor trips for all sports as needed and manage the Graduway online giving program. In addition to those, he will oversee the ticket operations and marketing for the athletics department.
Prior to joining Charleston Southern, Vigue has served as the Director of Athletics for Crown College in St. Bonifacius, Minnesota since January 2022. In this role, he oversees all operations of the athletics department’s 16 NCAA Division III Athletic Programs.
He served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Operations and Facilities at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida from 2014-2022. In this role he oversaw all game day operations, hired gameday staff and served as the project manager for all facility upgrades. Before this, he was Senior Enrollment Counselor at Florida Southern College from 2011-2014.
Vigue earned bachelors from Southeastern University in 2009 and completed his MBA in Sport Management from Southeastern in 2018.
