St. Edward's announced head softball coach Leah Glasgow has accepted the Associate Director of Athletics for External Operations and Strategic Initiatives position.

In her new role, Glasgow will oversee all external efforts, including sports information, marketing and promotions, corporate partnerships, and licensing of athletic marks. She will also assist in providing overall strategic direction for the department, including implementing strategic initiatives.

"I'm thrilled to have Leah as the Associate AD for External Operations and Strategic Initiatives. It's a newly designed and critical position," Associate Vice President for Athletics Debbie Taylor says. "Her coaching and marketing background, demeanor, and vision will be a fantastic addition as we continue to enhance our presence and offerings within our campus and local communities. She has the skill set and work ethic to thrive in this new position while continuing to impact our student-athlete experience positively."

Glasgow joined the St. Edward's athletic department in September 2019, guiding the program to its first NCAA Regional since 2014 last spring. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Sociology in 2007 from Dickinson State, where she was an NAIA All-American softball player, Dakota Athletic Conference Player of the Year, and Region III Most Valuable Player. She received a Master's in Sports Business Management from San Diego State in 2009.
