The Director of Athletics Broadcast will be responsible for adhering to all Department and University policies and procedures, as well as the rules, regulations, bylaws and interpretations of the ASUN Conference and the NCAA. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

* Serving as the lead gameday producer for all home athletics broadcasts including ESPN+ and non ESPN+ broadcasts.
*Plans, strategizes and executes the production of live sporting events for in-venue boards and broadcast streams.
*Setup and maintain audio/video equipment for all events that take place in Lipscomb Athletic competitive venues.
*Assists in control room during before, during, and after live productions, with responsibilities including directing, technical directing, and operation of replay and graphics machines.
*Staffs, recruits and trains students, interns and other temporary workers for the execution of live event productions, and produces original creative video content for department’s video boards to engage fans, and promote and increase brand awareness of Lipscomb’s athletic programs.
*Works with ASUN Conference to schedule stream broadcasts, ensure quality standards are met and graphics packages are correctly updated and maintained.
* Producing highlight packages, features and promotional videos for all teams, marketing and areas within Lipscomb Athletics.
*Shoot and edit vignettes, commercials, hype videos and more for use in arena and on social media.
*Collaborates with other units within external affairs department, including marketing, sponsorship and athletic communications, to plan and execute content that meets department goals and objectives.
* Other duties as assigned.
*Ability to work a non-traditional schedule, often including evenings, weekends and some travel as required.
