The Unversity of Illinois Springfield Athletic Department has announced the addition of Hannah Krukewitt as the Senior Associate Athletic Director. She will be responsible for leading the external affairs efforts supporting 15 intercollegiate sports. 

Krukewitt comes to Springfield from Knoxville, Tenn. where she was the Director of Ticket Sales and Ticket Operations for One Knoxville SC, a USL League One team. Krukewitt's experience in collegiate athletics includes two years in the University of Tennessee's ticket office and management of the Tennessee Fund. In addition, Krukewitt served on the 2021 Men's College World Series event staff where she was responsible for marketing, fan engagement, hospitality, and mobile ticket sales. 

"I'm thankful to our administration, specifically Laura Liesman and Jeff Lorber, for providing me this opportunity to come back home to central Illinois, this is a special place." Kukewitt said. "I look forward to getting started serving our student-athletes, coaches, staff, and the Springfield community with such a great team."

The Ipava, Ill. native graduated from Greenville University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management before earning her Master of Recreation and Sport Management from the University of Tennessee in 2023.
