Chestnut Hill College Director of Athletics Jesse Balcer is pleased to introduce Andrew Radomicki as the Institution's new Head Men's Basketball Coach.  Radomicki succeeds J.J. Butler who left program at the end of May for an assistant coach position at Division I University of Delaware.   Radomicki becomes the third head coach in the history of the program that started 20 years ago in 2003.

"I am beyond excited and honored to become the next head men's basketball coach at Chestnut Hill College, said Radomicki. "I am very grateful to Jesse Balcer and the rest of the search committee for this incredible opportunity. I look forward to having a positive impact on our student athletes and representing Chestnut Hill with pride!"

Radomicki joins the Griffins after serving as the Associate Head Coach last season at his alma mater Widener University under Chris Carideo. Last season, the Pride finished 19-9 and captured the MAC commonwealth Conference Championship, earning a bid to the NCAA Division III national Tournament where they lost in the first round.

"Andrew has worked his way up the ranks by learning from a few of the best coaches that the college game has to offer – Fran Dunphy (Temple University), Fran O'Hanlon (Lafayette College), and Chris Carideo (Widener University)," said Balcer. "Throughout the interview process, the common theme among people in the basketball world was that he is a gym rat who develops strong relationships with his players as well as with other coaches. I am excited to see him learn and grow as a head coach here at Chestnut Hill College."
Prior to returning to his alma mater, Radomicki spent five seasons at Division I Lafayette College, serving as an assistant coach under Philadelphia area coaching great Fran O'Hanlon from 2019-2022 after serving as Lafayette's director of Basketball Operations in the two seasons prior.   The Leopards went 38-38 and reached the Patriot League Tournament twice in his three seasons as an assistant coach.

Before working at Lafayette, Radomicki spent two seasons as a graduate manager for Temple. He assisted the Owls and Dunphy's staff with daily coaching and operations, playing a pivotal role in scouting and on-court player development while also chipping in on travel arrangements, equipment inventory, scheduling, facilities management and organizing visits for recruits.

Prior to his time at Temple, he spent a year as the head coach of the freshman basketball team at Penncrest High School. Radomicki's other experience includes working as a counselor at the Mike Doyle Basketball Camp, the Harry Perretta Villanova women's basketball camp and Mike McCarron's Skills and Drills.

A four-year  starter for Carideo at Widener, Radomicki served his final two seasons as team captain. During his senior campaign, he averaged 8.5 points per game and was tied for third on the team with 45 assists

Radomicki earned a bachelor's degree from the Widener University in hospitality management in 2014 and his master's from Temple in sport business in 2017.
