KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association is excited to announce an advancement within its staff.
 
The MIAA CEO Council has approved the promotion of its Director of Communications, Brenna Winn, to Assistant Commissioner, effective July 1, 2023.
 
Winn joined the Association in July of 2021. She oversees all communication, public and media relations efforts for the conference office and handles the maintenance of the MIAA’s official website and social media accounts. Winn works closely with member communication/sports information directors and assists in the preparation and execution of MIAA championships and special events.
 
Winn is a Walker, Iowa native, and received a bachelor’s degree from Coe College and a master’s degree from the University of Central Missouri. 

The MIAA is a higher education Association whose nationally acclaimed universities offer a balanced experience that challenges student-athletes academically, develops their athletic skills in high-level NCAA Division II competition, and enriches their personal and social well-being. The Association has 14 member institutions in the states of Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Oklahoma.
