BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Dustin Hodge has been named the next Birmingham-Southern head men's golf coach after years of experience in the sport.  

"I'm very thankful and excited to be the new men's golf coach at BSC. I have a passion for teaching the game of golf, and I look forward to meeting all of you and helping our players win on and off the golf course. With hard work and dedication, our team will strive daily to be the best golf program in Division III" said new head coach Dustin Hodge. 

Hodge comes to Birmingham-Southern with tons of golf experience in Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. He became an assistant golf professional at Atlantic National Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida in 2012 before moving to Villa Rica, Georgia to become an assistant golf and teaching professional at The Frog Golf Club in 2013. Coach Hodge then moved to Birmingham in 2015 where he has been an assistant golf and teaching professional at Pine Tree Golf Club before becoming the head coach for the Panthers.

Hodge has a degree in golf management and operations from the Golf Academy of America in Orlando Florida. He is also an experienced club fitter and has expertise in club repair and golf ball tracking technology. 

Hodge hopes to bring his years of professional experience to The Hilltop to help advance the men's golf program.
