CHICAGO, Ill. – After three seasons leading the North Park Men's and Women's Cross Country teams, Head Coach Alex Rosenau has resigned.

In his three years with the Vikings cross country team and four seasons as a track & field assistant coach, Rosenau guided Pati Miazek to the first NPU All-Region accolades in cross country since 2006. Additionally, he assisted Head Track & Field Coach Bisrat Kidane in placing Clark Fremouw (Discus) and Jereme Ombogo (200m) on the 2023 USTFCCA All-Region team.

"I would like to thank Alex for his perseverance and dedication to North Park," said John Born, Director of Athletics. "We wish him well in his next endeavor. I know I speak for the entire staff and the student-athletes he mentored: he will be missed."

A search to fill Rosenau's position is currently underway.
