Seton Hill University President Mary Finger has announced the hiring of Riley Butler as the school's head women's soccer coach.

I am looking forward to joining the Seton Hill family and building a program that the Alumni, Administration, and University can be proud of!"

Seton Hill Athletic Director Chris Snyder said, " I am pleased to welcome Coach Butler to the Griffin family. His extensive experience in soccer, particularly in Western Pennsylvania, made him an ideal fit for our program. He brings the right temperament that is needed for the program and our athletes responded very favorably to him during the interview process. I look for a bright future for our women's soccer program."

Butler most recently was an assistant coach at Illinois State University, where he spent one season.  While at Illinois State, Butler was part of a new staff that took over prior to the 2022 season.  He helped to fill the program's recruiting classes for 2023 and 2024.
