On May 15, 2019, Laukaitis '00 became the sixth head women's basketball coach in program history. She added the title of assistant athletic director in July 2023. 

In Laukaitis' first sesaons as head coach in 2019-20, Holy Family advanced to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championship Game for the first time since 2015. The Tigers recorded their first winning season in three years, going 18-11 overall and 14-5 in league play.

Laukaitis came back to Holy Family after spending 10 seasons as an assistant coach at Division I University of Pennsylvania, where she assisted with all aspects of the program, including recruitment, on-the-court coaching at individual workouts/practices and scouting opponents while establishing game strategy.
 
She was part of four Ivy League Championships and two Big 5 titles at Penn, with the Quakers appearing in three NCAA Tournaments and two WNIT Tournaments. She coached three Ivy League Players of the Year, four Ivy League Defensive Players of the Year and four Ivy League Rookies of the Year. 23 players earned All-Ivy honors and 15 were selected All-Philadelphia Big 5.
 
Prior to Penn, Laukaitis spent the 2008-09 season as head coach at Division III Cabrini College, leading the Cavaliers to the 2009 CSAC Championship and a berth into the NCAA Tournament. Cabrini finished 23-5 overall and 15-1 in conference play, the Cavaliers’ most wins since the 1994-95 season.
 
Her coaching career began at Holy Family as an assistant coach, with Laukaitis helping lead the Tigers to five Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) titles in eight seasons. HFU advanced to the postseason every year, including three NAIA Tournaments and the program’s first five NCAA Tournaments. 
 
During those eight seasons HFU went 234-27, including a 32-1 mark in 2007-08 when the team finished No. 4 nationally.
 
Laukaitis graduated from Holy Family with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education in 2000. A three-year team captain, she ranks fifth in program history with 247 steals and ninth with 372 assists.
