Phoenixville, PA - On Monday July 17th University of Valley Forge Athletic Director, Gretchen Levan, announced that Neil Herman will take over as the next Head Coach for the Baseball program. Coach Herman comes to UVF after most recently serving as the Assistant Basetballl Coach at NCAA Division II Chestnut Hill College. Prior to his time at Chestnut Hill, Herman spent 2015-2019 as the Head Baseball Coach at Phoenixville High School leading them to state tournament appearances 2016-2018. He will now look to bring that consistency to Phoenixville.

Athletic Director, Gretchen Levan shared: "We are blessed to have another well experienced coach join our staff in Neil Herman. He is someone we know has the calling of God on his life to use baseball as a platform to further His kingdom. I am excited for our team to get to know him and continue on their success. We cannot wait to see what this season holds! Welcome to the Patriot family Neil and Nolan!"

Neil Herman will be bringing extensive knowledge with him to UVF on and off the field. Coach Herman graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Sports Administration from the Lockhaven University and a Master of Education in Positive Coaching from the University of MIssouri.

Upon being named the Head Coach of Valley Forge Baseball, Coach Herman commented: "I am very thankful for this opportunity that Gretchen LeVan and the hiring committee have given me to be the Head Baseball Coach at the University of Valley Forge.  My son Nolan and I are extremely happy to be a part of the UVF family.  I am excited to get started with the mission of building Christ-centered athletes and winning!  Go Pats Go!"

Congratulations to our new Baseball hire, Coach Herman!
