LAKELAND, Fla. – After 10 years with the program,
Chris Keen has resigned his position as Head Coach of Florida Southern College Volleyball announced Thursday (Dec. 15). Keen was hired as an assistant coach in 2013 and was promoted to associate head coach one year later. After five seasons as an assistant and associate head coach, Keen served the next five seasons (2018-22) as head coach of the program.
"We thank Chris for his time and dedication to Florida Southern College and the Volleyball program over the past 10 years," stated
Drew Howard, Florida Southern's Director of Athletics and Dean of Wellness. "We wish him well on his future endeavors."

Chris Keen. "I am especially thankful to Jill Stephens for her leadership and mentorship during my tenure at FSC. I am also very grateful to the fans and boosters for all their support year after year. I am excited to see the success of the program continue into the future."
A national search for a new head volleyball coach will begin immediately.

Florida Southern College Volleyball
Florida Southern College Volleyball has won 11 Sunshine State Conference titles and advanced to the NCAA Division II postseason 33 times in program history, a program that has 1,220 wins and five NCAA DII South Regional Titles. The Moccasins have produced 33 All-Americans, accumulating 50 All-America honors, and two Academic All-Americans with one NCAA Elite 90 Award recipient in 2017. Southern volleyball were runners-up in the 2017 NCAA National Championship.
