COLIN GRAHAM STEPS DOWN AS HEAD ESPORTS COACH

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Davenport University Esports head coach, Colin Graham, has chosen to step down after serving in his current role since May 2019. The university will open a national search to find its new head coach for the Esports program.

"Colin has been a pioneer in the field of Esports since his arrival to Davenport," said Paul Lowden, Executive Director of Intercollegiate Athletics. "He has taken the reins of this program and grown it into a premiere team in the arena of Esports. Not only did he invest his efforts towards evolving our team, but he continues to be a pillar in the Esports community advocating and sharing his passion for the sport. We thank him for his selfless dedication to DU and the community of Esports."

Graham turned the Davenport Esports program into one of the finest in the country during his tenure. Among the numerous accomplishments included Collin Moren receiving NACE CSGO Player of the Year in 2022 and during this past year in 2022-23, the program captured over 200 wins in their various titles.

In addition, the program made some noise at the national level with four different national championships during Graham's tenure.

"I have spent my past four years at Davenport building relationships, building a program, and making amazing memories," said Graham. "I believe that DU has a potential for continued growth in the Esports space. They care about the student-athlete and about the vision that has been established. Thank you to Davenport for giving me a chance to spread my wings and see what could be built here."
