Rhileigh Alred Appointed Director of Spirit Programs for Lincoln Memorial University

Harrogate, TN- Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) is pleased to announce the appointment of Rhileigh Alred as the new Director of Spirit Programs. In her new role, Alred will oversee and lead the university's cheerleading team, fostering a spirit of enthusiasm and engagement among the student body.
 
Alred brings a wealth of experience and a strong educational background to her position. She holds a Bachelor of Art in Fine Art 2D from Lincoln Memorial University, graduating in 2023, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Teaching at the University of the Cumberlands. Her dedication to both academics and the arts will undoubtedly contribute to her success in this leadership role.

She possesses great potential as a Spirit Program Director, in large part because of her integrity, professionalism, organizational capacity, and cheerleading IQ. We are confident she will provide a high-quality experience for our student-athletes", remarked Jody Goins (LMU Executive Vice President for Administration).
 
With a diverse range of educational and professional experiences, Alred is well-equipped to guide the spirit programs at LMU. She has previously served as a Cheer Squad Choreographer at Cawood Elementary School, Bell County Middle School, and Evarts Elementary. Additionally, Alred has gained valuable experience as a Substitute Teacher for Harlan County Schools and as a Teacher Assistant at Ellen Myers Elementary. Her involvement in various cheerleading events and competitions, such as judging cheer tryouts and coaching, further highlights her commitment to the field.
 
Alred's exceptional dedication and achievements have earned her several honors and awards. Notably, she was a member of the All-Railsplitter Team and received the Virginia Householder Memorial Art Scholarship and Lillian A. Ralston Art Award. Her commitment to academic excellence is evidenced by her inclusion on the Dean's List and the numerous scholarships she has been awarded. Furthermore, Alred is a KAPOS Certified Cheerleading Judge
 
Rhileigh Alred's extensive background in cheerleading, combined with her commitment to education and service, make her the ideal candidate for the position of Director of Spirit Programs at Lincoln Memorial University.
