KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association now has an exclusive Name, Image and Likeness marketplace powered by
Opendorse.
The marketplace makes it easier than ever for fans and potential name, image and likeness (NIL) partners to browse and connect with MIAA student-athletes from all 14 MIAA institutions.
“The MIAA and its member schools are excited to launch the MIAA Marketbplace on the Opendorse platform,” stated MIAA Commissioner Mike Racy. “We believe every MIAA student-athlete in every sport should have NIL opportunities during college and this marketplace will make it easier for businesses, brands and sponsors to connect with MIAA student-athletes and engage in NIL deals!”
MIAA student-athletes who have opted in to participate in the marketplace maintain individual profile pages that include specific options for how NIL partners can engage. Student-athletes can review opportunities and accept compensation directly through the Opendorse app.
The MIAA is the first NCAA Division II conference to create an exclusive marketplace on Opendorse, the Association’s official NIL technology partner.
