Former Auburn associate athletic director and football chief of staff Brad Larrondo is expected to join the Missouri football staff in an administrative role, sources tell On3.

Larrondo was Bryan Harsin’s right-hand man at both Auburn and Boise State, where he spent 27 years prior to heading to Auburn with Harsin in 2021.

A Boise State graduate, Larrondo began working at Boise as a sports information director before working up the ranks and eventually becoming associate AD for football, the school’s senior associate athletic director for external affairs and then Harsin’s chief of staff.

Larrondo worked with Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz at Boise State when Drinkwitz was on the Broncos’ coaching staff in 2014 and ’15.

Missouri, which is in its third season with Drinkwitz as its head coach, is 6-6 and set to play Wake Forest in the Gasparilla Bowl. The Tigers won two straight games to close out the regular season, including a 29-27 victory over Arkansas in their regular season finale.
