Portland State opted not to renew the contract of track & field/cross country coach David Hepburn after distance runner Jordan MacIntosh was denied an opportunity to qualify for the NCAA Championship.
Because Portland State men’s track & field didn’t participate in a minimum number of meets during the indoor and outdoor seasons, MacIntosh was ineligible for postseason competition.
