Phoenixville, PA - On Tuesday May 23^rd University of Valley Forge Athletic Director, Gretchen Levan, announced that Dominique Boone will take over as the next Head Coach for the Men's Basketball program. Coach Boone comes to UVF after most recently serving as the Head Coach & Sports Information Director at Warren Wilson College in Asheville, NC. Coach Boone helped oversee the Warren Wilson program during the school's transition to the NCAA and oversaw the program to competing in the Coast to Coast conference playoffs. He will now look to elevate the Men's Basketball program at Valley Forge to further success and look to surpass that level in Phoenixville.

Athletic Director, Gretchen Levan shared: "We are excited to have a seasoned coach like Dominique be joining our team. Our mission is paramount when extending an offer to any candidate and we strongly felt God has called Coach Boone and his family to UVF for such a time as this. We look forward to having him a part of our Patriot Family!"

Dominique Boone will be bringing extensive knowledge with him to Phoenixville on and off the court. Coach Boone graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science from Middle Tennessee State University and also completed a Masters of Sport Administration from Arkansas State University. He has also served as the Head Coach at USCAA member Paul Smith's College, served as an Assistant at NCAA Division II member Chestnut Hill College, and served as the High School Head Basketball Coach for the LEAD Academy in Nashville, Tennessee.

Upon being named the Head Coach of Valley Forge Men's Basketball, Coach Boone commented: "I am thankful and honored for the opportunity God has provided us to lead the Men's Basketball program here at Valley Forge. Ms. LeVan has done an amazing job building the athletic program here and we are eager to continue her and the institution's mission of Training student-athletes to be Christ-centered leaders through the platform of athletics. We are looking forward to hitting the ground running, building genuine relationships both within UVF and the Phoenixville community, and developing our program into one the premier Christian college basketball programs. FORGE ON!"
