GREENWOOD - Billy Howard has been named the new eSports head coach for the Bearcats. 

Howard is no stranger to the Peach Belt Conference, as he was the College Tournament Lead/Product Manager at Generation eSports, overseeing the operations for each conference's eSports Championships. for two years. This past spring, he coached Florida Southern to the PBC League of Legends Championship in Aiken S.C. The Mocs shut out each of their three opponents en route to the title. Howard takes over a program that finished runner-up to Florida Southern in the fall PBC Rocket League Championship after going 5-3 to finish in third place in the regular season.

"We are excited to be able to hire someone with the experience and success that Billy brings with him," said Reese. "He brings a wealth of knowledge of eSports in the Peach Belt and has won everywhere he has been."
