MARIETTA, Ohio — Marietta College head men's and women's cross country and track and field coach Jason Davis resigned his position after seven years as the Pioneer's head coach. A national search to find the College's next head coach will begin immediately.
"We are thankful for Jason's hard work, dedication, and devotion to Marietta Track and Cross Country over the last six years," Marietta athletic director Larry Hiser said. "His colleagues and student-athletes wish him the best in his future endeavors."
Davis coached seven All-American's in his time at Marietta College. In addition to the All-American's he coached a two-time national runner up in the women's high jump. Davis coached six OAC individual champions in the men's pole vault, men's and women's high jump, women's shot put and women's triple jump.
