SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The University of Sioux Falls and Athletic Director Pam Gohl are excited to announce the promotion of Jackson Wright as the Assistant Athletic Director for Internal Operations and Communications.

"We are thrilled to be able to keep Jackson on the Athletic Admin staff here at USF. Jackson has been an incredible asset to the department already with his ability to learn quickly and problem-solve," stated Gohl. "Jackson is personable and connects well both with the on-campus community as well as the community of Sioux Falls. We look forward to Jackson leading our efforts in ticketing as well as continually analyzing our internal operations to help us provide the best experience possible for our student-athletes and fans."

Wright joined the USF staff in January where he served the same role on an interim bases. Since starting, he has captained internal and ticketing operations as well as serving as the primary communications contact for USF Baseball.

As no stranger to USF Athletics, Wright was a three year starter for Cougar Football where he served as an offensive linemen and team captain. Wright is a three-time NSIC All-Academic Team member as well as a NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence recipient. He played in 42 games for the Coo, including their 2019 playoff appearance against Colorado School of Mines. Wright also served on the programs Leadership Council throughout his senior year.

"After spending six years at the University of Sioux Falls as a student-athlete, it was an easy decision when Pam approached me with this opportunity," stated Wright. "It's an honor to be able to continue my professional career at an institution that's supported me both in the classroom and on the field."

Wright graduated from the University of Sioux Falls in December of 2022 with a master's in business administration and in 2020 with his bachelors in sports management.
