Randi Sundquist Named Patriettes' New Head Coach

DBU Athletics announced today the hiring of Randi Sundquist as the new Patriettes' Head Coach. Sundquist, a native of Elko, Nevada, has an undeniable passion for developing and leading young women and brings with her over 22 years of dance training and experiences.
 
Since arriving in Dallas in 2015, she coached the Southern Methodist University Pom team for two seasons and led the program to win a first place Gold Bid at NDA camp and was a member and captain of the Allen Americans Ice Angels. She danced for the nationally ranked Idaho State University Bengal dancers before transferring to UNLV.
 
Randi spent countless hours in the dance studio growing up and attended several dance conventions and camps. She was recognized as the Best All-Around Dancer at IDAA summer camp in Twin Falls, Idaho, and was asked to be an apprentice with Ballet Idaho.
 
In late 2013, Randi took a role as the Associate Director of High School Ministry at Central Christian Church in Las Vegas. There she helped restructure and rebuild the student ministry while heavily mentoring high school students.
 
Randi won the title of Miss Nevada 2012 and traveled the state where she utilized her title to promote her personal platform entitled, "Preventing Youth Violence and Bullying." She went on to represent Nevada in the 2013 Miss America Pageant.
 
Sundquist graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with a BA in Journalism and Media Studies and a minor in entertainment management.  With a varied background in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, and Leadership Coaching, she contributes a unique combination of skills to the Patriettes program.
 
As a Realtor, Randi has been helping buyers and sellers since 2019 and has been awarded Top Realtor by DMagazine and The Advocate.
