Joe Adams '14 to lead Earlham WBB program

RICHMOND – The Earlham College athletic department is excited to welcome Joe Adams '14 as the next head coach of the Quaker women's basketball team. 

Adams comes to EC after serving as head girls basketball coach at Anderson High School in Anderson, Indiana. In addition to leading first and second team all-conference athletes, Adams taught US History and credit recovery classes. 

Prior to his time at Anderson, Adams was with the Franklin County School District for three years. While teaching special education, Adams also led the girls basketball team, and coached an all-conference point guard. 

"Joe is a fantastic addition to the Earlham athletic department" said Director of Athletics, Adam Hutchinson. "I am excited for him to get to work developing the Earlham women's basketball team."

Adams graduated from Earlham in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Hispanic studies. He also earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from EC in 2015. In August of 2016, Joe returned to his alma mater as an assistant men's basketball coach, and head JV coach, he spent two seasons on the EC staff.
