Isaac Carter resigns to accept the defensive coordinator role at the University of San Diego. Assistant head football and offensive line coach
Cory York has been named interim head coach of the Millsaps program.
York joined the Millsaps coaching staff in 2019, overseeing the offensive line, was an assistant coach and held the position of recruiting coordinator for his first two seasons.
During those four seasons, the Majors combined 34 student-athletes on the All-SAA Team, 16 SAA Players of the Week, 104 members on the SAA All-Academic Honor Roll, 17 NFF Hampshire Honor Society inductees and a D3football.com All-American.

From 2012-2017 under York's guidance, the Choctaws had six All-GSC selections, two All-NCAA team selections and one All-NCAA Region D3 Football selection.
York played for MC from 2007-11, missing most of his sophomore season due to an injury. He made the move from guard to center prior to his senior season and anchored a line that rushed for 165.1 yards and passed for 231.3 yards per game. York was part of the 2009 team that won the American Southwest Conference and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III playoffs.
