Sacramento State has partnered with Game Plan to provide Hornets student-athletes and staff with education across several topics, including all areas required by the NCAA.
Through this partnership, Sacramento State plans to amplify the education received on campus through Game Plan’s comprehensive Sexual Violence Prevention & Healthy Relationships curriculum. The eLearning format offers flexibility and accessibility to essential education for student-athletes, coaches, and staff throughout the academic year with detailed engagement tracking and reporting features. Additionally, the ability to incorporate institution-specific content through Game Plan’s create-your-own-course tool will allow Sacramento State to focus on the particular needs of the athletic department.

In addition to utilizing the Sexual Violence Prevention eLearning modules on the platform, Sacramento State will provide student-athletes with education on mental health and wellness along with career preparation. The Hornets also plan to deliver social justice education to the entire athletic department.
