Andrew Garlock joined the Tennessee Athletics staff in May of 2023 as Associate Athletics Director of Ticket Sales & Retention.

He oversees a staff focused on driving ticket sales for each of Tennessee’s ticketed sports. His team handles all outbound sales, strategizes on group-ticket initiatives and collaborates closely with the ticket operations, fan experience and Tennessee Fund staffs to maximize revenue and sales opportunities related to home-event attendance.

Prior to his arrival on Rocky Top, Garlock managed units responsible for generating more than $18 million in revenue through ticket sales and donations.

“We are thrilled to have Andrew lead our Ticket Sales and Retention teams,” Executive Associate AD of External Operations Alicia Longworth said. “His ability to develop business strategy, streamline sales efforts and build culture will help drive revenue for the entire organization. Andrew’s background and experience combined with the skillsets of the external team will help Tennessee lead the way in college sports.”

A native of Springfield, Ohio, Garlock transitioned to Tennessee from his role as Assistant AD of Ticket Sales at Texas Tech, where he managed a sizable staff and worked to develop sales goals and strategies. Under his leadership, the department significantly modernized its daily operations and set a record for “new” football season-tickets sold. He also led the strategy and execution of a new premium sales plan, resulting in football season tickets selling out in all club and loge areas.

From 2014-21, Garlock gained valuable experience while steadily earning increased responsibilities at the University of Washington. He progressed from an account executive to an inside sales manager to director of business development, where he managed the day-to-day efforts and planning of UW’s outbound sales team. He also oversaw strategic planning for Washington’s digital sales unit.

His first ticket sales position out of graduate school came as an inside sales representative with the NFL’s Cleveland Brown during the 2013 season.

Garlock earned his bachelor’s degree in Sports Studies from Miami (Ohio) in 2011, before completing a master’s degree in Sports Administration at Liberty in 2013.

Garlock and his wife, Natalee, have two sons, Griffin and Archer.
