Massachusetts Athletics Endorses Midnight Ride Collective

The collective will help Minutemen football student-athletes connect with NIL opportunities
AMHERST, Mass. – Massachusetts Athletics is endorsing the newly announced Midnight Ride Collective, which has been established to help Minutemen football student-athletes connect with Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) opportunities.
Founded by Corey Schneider '13 and Tim McDermond '03, the Midnight Ride Collective aims to empower UMass football players to leverage their NIL rights and create unique opportunities, while also promoting the program and University. Additionally, the Midnight Ride Collective will aim to provide education and resources on how to effectively build personal brands and will support the University of Massachusetts' award-winning band and spirit groups.
"We greatly appreciate the interest and dedication of the Midnight Ride Collective to organize a robust NIL network to support Massachusetts football," said director of athletics Ryan Bamford. "Tim and Corey have manufactured an all-encompassing approach to the NIL space for our football student-athletes, by educating them and activating NIL opportunities that will support their experience at UMass. Their approach is forward-thinking, entrepreneurial and will help our program support NIL activities in a cutting-edge fashion."
The Midnight Ride Collective, named after Paul Revere's legendary ride to Lexington, Massachusetts, plans to create content, host events and launch initiatives to raise awareness for available NIL opportunities. The collective is committed to promoting a culture of collaboration and community support, while also helping to build UMass football into a nationally recognized brand.
