Former University of Cincinnati basketball player Jeremiah Davenport, who recently graduated from UC, posted a photo with coach Wes Miller on Instagram. Miller was wearing Jordan Brand Bearcats gear, adding to rumors about the athletic program's change in sponsor.

Whispers about a new University of Cincinnati athletics apparel deal are getting louder.

Guard Jeremiah Davenport, who recently graduated from UC and is transferring to Arkansas, posted an Instagram photo over the weekend with Bearcats men's basketball coach Wes Miller. In the picture, Miller is wearing a Bearcats shirt and hat featuring the Jordan Brand logo, as well as Jordan-branded sweatpants.

The school's athletic program is set to part ways with current sponsor Under Armour, and some believe it could partner with Jordan Brand next.

Furthering that theory, UC guard Dan Skillings posted a video to TikTok Sunday, claiming the team wrapped up its last workout in Under Armour gear.

"Jordan here we come," he captioned the clip.

Under Armour has been the official outfitter of UC athletics since 2015, but both parties agreed to a buyout of their $50 million sponsorship deal in 2020. At the time, a UC spokesperson told The Enquirer the school's product supply agreement with the brand would end June 2024.

Jordan Brand was UC basketball's official outfitter from 1997 to 2007.

This wouldn't be the first time UC partnered with Michael Jordan's eponymous brand. Jordan was UC basketball's official outfitter from 1997 to 2007, according to The Athletic.

The Enquirer reached out to Zach Stipe, director for communications and strategic brand engagement for UC athletics. He said there were no updates about the program's partnership at this time.
