Janna joined the Minot State Athletic team in the spring of 2023 and has served Minot State University for the last dozen years as part of the Minot State Advancement team since 2011.
Previously the Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving here at MSU, McKechnie takes on a similar role in Athletics as the Assistant Athletic Director for External Operations.
A Minot native, McKechnie attended Minot High School and Minot State University and played basketball for the Beavers in the early 2000s.
Janna and her husband, Aaron, have two girls. Janna is active in the Minot Optimist Club, Longfellow PTA, and the Professional Communication department on campus.
