I teased this one yesterday on Twitter and can now confirm that D2 Seattle Pacific head coach Grant Leep will step down and become an assistant at D1 Seattle University.

Leep had been at SPU for the past 14 seasons – 7 as an assistant, and the last seven as the head coach. During his tenure as the head coach, he put together a 114-69 (.623) record, including a 17-11 (12-6 GNAC) mark this past season.

Leep, a Washington native who played at the University of Washington, also spent time as an assistant at Eastern Washington.

An official announcement is expected shortly.
