Board of Regents announces next Cameron University President
LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) - During a meeting of the University of Oklahoma, Cameron University and Rogers State University Board of Regents meeting, the group announced the selection of the next president of Cameron.
During a meeting that began at 2 p.m. it was announced that Dr. C Shane Hunt would become Cameron’s 18th University President.
Currently, Dr. Hunt serves as the Dean of the College of Business and Michael C. Ruettgers Professor of Marketing and Vice Provost for Entrepreneurship and Economic Innovation at Idaho State University where he’s served since 2020.
Prior, he served in multiple roles at Arkansas State University.
Dr. Hunt holds a bachelor’s in Marketing and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma.
He earned his PhD in Marketing with a minor in Management from Oklahoma State University.
