Jenna Adams Named Director of Facilities and Events

GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University Department of Athletics and Recreation has announced the hiring of Jenna Adams as the new Director of Athletic Facilities and Events. Adams begins her duties at Arcadia on April 19.

"I am honored and thrilled to be the newest Director of Athletic Facilities and Events at Arcadia," Adams said. "I would like to thank the hiring committee for giving me the opportunity to join the Athletics Department and the Arcadia community."

Adams comes to Glenside after spending the last two years at Caldwell University as an Athletic Administrator and the Head Acrobatics and Tumbling Coach. As the Athletic Administrator, she cultivated a positive environment for athletes and fans and supervised game-day events and tournaments. Adams pioneered Caldwell's Acrobatics and Tumbling Division II program in 2021, where she recruited over 15 athletes and participated in NCAA regulated coaches' trainings and professional development programs. Previous to working at Caldwell University, Adams was a fourth-grade teacher at Saint Joseph Regional School in Somers Point, New Jersey.

"Throughout the search process, the committee was impressed with Jenna's organization and preparedness," Executive Director of Athletics Brian Granata said. "She has gained valuable experience at Caldwell as an athletics administrator and head coach. We look forward to seeing the positive impact she will have in running first-class events at Arcadia and in managing the operations of our athletics facilities."

Adams graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology in 2018 and a Master's in Elementary Education in 2019 from Quinnipiac University. She is also on track to earn her Master's in Athletic Administration from Coker University in 2023. While at Quinnipiac, Adams was a four-year Division I starter for the Acrobatics and Tumbling team. In her senior year she was a captain, earned the Scholar Athlete and ECAC Conference Player of the Year Awards, as well as being named to the Dean's list.

"I was quickly drawn in by the constant growth of the University and the Athletic Department at Arcadia," explained Adams. "They provide a positive and success-driven environment for student-athletes and staff, which truly enriches their collegiate athletics experience. I am looking forward to being a part of the exciting game-day atmosphere for student-athletes and spectators."
