RALEIGH, NC -- William Peace University Athletics is excited to announce Rebecca Fraser as the new Head Strength and Conditioning Coach.
Interim Athletic Director and Head Men's Basketball Coach Claude Shields stated, "We are excited to welcome Rebecca to WPU! Having a full-time strength coach, who is an expert in the field, is a huge asset to our student-athletes. It was abundantly clear in the search process that Rebecca is committed to growing and developing young people and she will fit in well as we look to take each of our programs to the next level."
Fraser comes to the Pacers after having served as an Exercise Physiologist in Chesapeake, VA since 2021 and an Exercise Specialist in Sports Performance since May of 2022. She was previously a grad assistant for Sports Performance at Barton College from 2020 to 2021. Fraser graduated with a Master of Science in Kinesiology from Barton in May of 2021, having previously earned Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and Sport Management at Barton in 2020.
Fraser stated, "I'm excited to join William Peace University. The school has a great atmosphere and a lot of potential for the athletic programs. I'm looking forward to helping the student athletes take their game to the next level.I hope to add to the athletes overall college experience on and off the field."
