If you've been to the San Diego State University Mission Valley site lately, you've seen the value that the new River Park is bringing to the lives of San Diegans. Bustling playground, soccer games, families, friends, pick-up basketball, and smiling faces everywhere. Not to mention the kids love it when the trolley passes overhead. Pretty amazing to think that it used to be a parking lot - and a great reminder of the impact of SDSU Mission Valley on our community. Here's what's next - check out this video from the SDSU Division of Research and Innovation on the new Innovation District, which will sit adjacent to the River Park, Trolley Plaza, and Snapdragon Stadium. As per usual, exciting and high growth times at San Diego State University!

My Friday afternoon at San Diego State University: 1. Tour of the Historic Fletcher Chimes at the top of Hardy Tower (the beautiful music you hear at the top of every hour) 2. Visit with the College of Engineering's Aztec Electric Racing Team (who knew, incredibly talented group of passionate student volunteers) 3. Sold Out Men's Basketball Senior Night at Viejas Arena (best atmosphere in college hoops) #epic #goaztecs #highereducation #lovemyjob

Today was my first day back at San Diego State University! My new position is Sr. Director of Principal Gifts, working with the fantastic University Relations & Development (URAD) team. This is a highly collaborative and impactful role that is focused on campus-wide priorities. Today's DIRECTV Holiday Bowl marks the culmination of an impressive display of hard work and passion from the Sports San Diego team of staff and Red Coat volunteers. It has been a unique experience for me after serving for many years on the "team side" and an inspiration to witness this organization's impact on the San Diego community. Parade starts at 10:00 am (PST), tailgate party at 2:00 pm, and kickoff at 5:00 pm, following the game is the KGB SkyShow. The winning coach gets an eggnog bath... As a current USC grad student and bowl game staff, I am trying my best to stay impartial - Louisville has ten wins and is ranked #15, a very formidable opponent for the Trojans - hope to see you there! #community #sandiego #collegefootball

Hello - I'm excited to share that as part of my Ed.D dissertation, I am conducting a study on Stakeholder Value in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). The name of the study is, "The People Who Make it Great: Stakeholder Value in the New Era of the FBS." You are eligible to participate if you live in the United States, are over 18 years of age, and currently occupy one of the identified FBS stakeholder roles of Current or Former Football College Athlete, Head Football Coach, Campus Executive, Donor/Season Ticket Holder, Faculty, or Athletics Administrator (AD or other).
