SCOTTSDALE, AZ – With nearly two decades of experience in ticket sales and service,
Dan Newhart has joined the Fiesta Bowl Organization as Vice President of Ticketing. In his new role, Newhart oversees the creation and execution of the organization's ticket and premium seating sales and operations strategy.
Newhart will have the primary responsibility to work closely with internal and external stakeholders to optimize revenue, customer experience and operational effectiveness for the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl, Guaranteed Rate Bowl and high-profile events such as the Arizona Bank & Trust Fiesta Bowl Kickoff Luncheon presented by Caesars Sportsbook and the PNC Fiesta Bowl Par 3 Challenge presented by Chapman Automotive.

In his most recent role as the Rays' Director of Sales and Service, Newhart oversaw single game ticket initiatives, season membership sales and service, group sales, event management, suites and premium seating. Additionally, he also contributed to the development and implementation of Rays Season Memberships, a flexible alternative to traditional season tickets that allowed members to choose desired games and seating categories while including exclusive member benefits, value and priority access to tickets.
Newhart served for 16 years with the Rays organization after working with the Philadelphia Phillies as a sales representative. Early in his career, Newhart had a stint with Sunburst Entertainment Group where he gained football ticket experience with the group sales staff for the 2011 Under Armour All-American Game, the 2010 Beef 'O' Brady's Bowl and the 2009 Dr. Pepper ACC Championship Game.

Outside of his professional career, Newhart was also active in the Tampa community as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters and as a board member on Leadership Tampa Bay's Executive Committee.
Newhart is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Commercial Recreation/Sports Management with minors in Business and Architecture.
