The general purpose of this position is to design and implement strength training and conditioning programs for football student-athletes and teach and educate student-athletes.
Assist in the teaching and educating of student-athletes in physical strength and conditioning techniques
Assist in the Design and implement strength training and conditioning programs for football program.
Assist with workout design and implementation for additional Olympic sports assignments.
Assist the Associate Director of Strength and Conditioning for Football with all aspects of program administration.
Directly supervise and train interns/practicum students.
Coordinate training facility cleaning and maintenance of equipment.

The following Degree is required:
Bachelor’s Degree required in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field. Degree must be conferred at time of application.

Master's Degree
The following Experience is required:
One year of experience in a NCAA member strength & conditioning program working with athletes
2 years of experience as a GA or student employee is equal to 1 year of professional experience
The following licenses, certifications, or registrations is required: (Current certifications should be documented on your resume/application or uploaded as additional documents)
Certified by the National Strength & Conditioning Association or Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association
Documented CPR and AED certifications
Can be obtained upon hiring
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have the ability to work in the collegiate setting with collegiate athletes, coaches and other athletic department staff
Applicant must exhibit ability to instruct, supervise, and demonstrate associated exercises in a weightlifting based training environment
Successful candidate must display competency to coordinate with the Asst. Director of Strength & Conditioning for Football and the Football Athletic Trainers regarding certain biomechanical assessments as well as implementation of the return to play protocols for athletes returning from injury
Excellent verbal communication skills

Ability to manage groups of diverse people
