University of Kansas Working with Podium X
Technology platform helps student-athletes gain notice for careers, internships, grad school, and NIL opportunities.

Lawrence, Kansas –University of Kansas athletics is using Podium X to offer the career development and personal marketing tool to its student athletes. Podium X changes the way athletes prepare and apply for jobs and internships as well as market themselves for NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) opportunities. Kansas will roll out Podium X to the Jayhawk football players through a workshop later this month.
“We are excited to work with Podium X to enhance and promote the athletic and academic accomplishments of our student athletes, while building their professional aspirations,” says Ashley Goodman, Director of Player Development. “Giving our student-athletes access to Podium X will be an added benefit and resource for our student athletes to develop and enhance their collegiate experience with NIL, internships and career opportunities.”
The Podium X platform (www.podiumx.com) allows creation of an online profile that is specially designed for athletes to highlight their unique journey and valuable soft skills often developed through athletics. Student- athletes can represent themselves digitally or create traditional resume PDFs with a click and be matched to hundreds of national job openings. Employers post job openings and can view student profiles that match the skills they need.
