From everyone within the Augusta University Department of Athletics, we want to extend our sincerest gratitude to all of our alumni, donors, families and fans for your tremendous support as part of the 4^th annual Augusta Gives. Together, we raised $228,675 from a total of 93 gifts, making Augusta Gives a truly impactful day for our exceptional student-athletes.
 
Augusta Gives is the largest one-day fundraiser to benefit Augusta University. Donations for this community-funded initiative are driven by social media posts and shares by students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the university, as well as some of the university's most dedicated supporters who choose to make major gifts on this day. The goal of Augusta Gives is to engage the community, alumni, friends, donors, retirees, employees and students to give at any level to impact projects within Augusta University's colleges, units, health system and athletics programs.
 
Jason McKenzie, Associate Director of Philanthropy at Augusta University, helped spearhead athletic donations for the annual event. "THANK YOU and CONGRATS to everyone for their hard work in making Augusta Gives such a great success," said McKenzie. "Our Athletics Department alone received $228,675 on Augusta Gives!  What a testimony to our alumni, friends, and supporters who love this great university. This money allows our athletics program to compete, and allows our coaches to go out and recruit the best athletes to play here at Augusta.  WE Did It!!!  Congratulations on an Awesome Augusta Gives. Anything is possible!"
