Randolph College Director of Athletics Tom Galbraith, announced Friday that
Brian O'Connor, head men's soccer coach, is stepping down from his position for personal reasons to address a family matter. His decision is effective immediately.
"Brian has been a great addition to the Randolph community and has made a positive impact on our soccer program and department in his short time on campus," Galbraith said. "All WildCats send their heartfelt well wishes to coach and his family at this time."
O'Connor led the WildCats for just one season, in 2022, compiling a 6-6-3 overall record. He joined the Randolph staff after compiling a 43-16-3 record at Knox College and achieving two berths in the NCAA Tournament.
The school will begin an immediate evaluation of coaching options for the upcoming 2023 season.
