MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – SUNY Morrisville Director of Athletics, Matt Grawrock, announced the resignation of head field hockey coach Jennifer Koller earlier this morning.

Koller has spent five seasons on the sidelines with the Mustangs, also serving as the strength and conditioning coach for student-athletes.

"I want to express my gratitude for all that Jenn has given to the field hockey program and the athletic department," Grawrock said.

"In her role as strength and conditioning coach, she has contributed positively to our teams. She gave so much during the pandemic and has sacrificed tremendously to help our field hockey team make strides on the field in a very challenging conference.

"We wish her the best of luck, and are committed to building on what she has done for the program."

Under Koller's direction, several players have earned All-League honors within the former North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) and State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC), while also earning recognition at the national level among some of the top players in Division III in saves and defensive saves.

Off the field of competition, Koller's teams have excelled academically and have been engaged participants in the local community with service initiatives. Most recently, her squad spearheaded a Mustang Morgan's Message campaign to bring awareness to mental health for student-athletes.

Koller has had several student-athletes earn recognition as conference scholar-athletes, National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Scholar-Athlete and Scholar-Athlete of Distinction awards, as well as earning National Academic Team Awards.

Morrisville will be conducting a search for her replacement this spring.
