Goupee appointed to NCAA Men’s, Women’s Track and Field Rules Committee

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The NCAA announced on Wednesday that Husson University men's and women's track and field head coach Kate Goupee has been appointed as one of two Division III representatives to serve on the men's and women's track and field rules committee. 
 
Goupee, who previously held the role from August 2018 to August 2020 will now serve on the rules committee beginning in September to August 2027. 
 
"I am very excited to represent Husson, the North Atlantic Conference and DIII on the NCAA Track and Field Rules Committee," said Goupee. "I look forward to the opportunity to give back to the sports of cross country and track and field as they continue to progress forward to the benefit of NCAA student-athletes."
 
As part of the NCAA rules committee Goupee will be tasked with sustaining and advancing the association's mission, traditions, values and reputation. By participating in committee meetings, conference calls while maintaining exemplary ethical standards as well as being an advocate of the association.
