Mike Conroy

Mike Conroy became the Head Athletic Trainer in the fall of 2016 for the Golden Flyers' 26-team athletic program and was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director in 2023. The 2023-24 academic year will mark his 14th as a member of Nazareth's athletic training staff. His primary responsibilities include coverage for women's soccer and men's lacrosse.

Originally from Rochester, Conroy received his bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from SUNY Cortland in 2003. He stayed on as a graduate assistant at Cortland to receive his Master’s degree in Exercise Science in 2005.

Prior to joining the Golden Flyers, Conroy spent two years at Alfred University as an assistant athletic trainer, working primarily with the football team as well as being involved as a clinical instructor and lecturer in the Athletic Training Education Program. He also spent three years at Westfield State University as an assistant athletic trainer and adjunct professor in the Athletic Training education program.

Conroy also has experience working with the Empire State Game, the Rochester Amerks Youth Hockey Camps and USA women’s team handball training camp.

He resides in Brighton with his wife Katie, son Liam, daughter Emma and dog Murphy.
