DENTON, Texas (May 9, 2023) – The Texas Woman's Athletic Department announced the promotion of Madison Seaver to Associate Athletic Director for Internal Operations on Monday, May 8, 2023.

Most recently, Seaver served as the Pioneers' Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance and Academic Services since July 2022.

"It is my great honor to announce that as of yesterday, Madison Seaver, is our new Associate Athletic Director for Internal Operations," TWU Director of Athletics Sandee Mott said. "Not only was our organizational structure in need of revamping, developing a layer that has program oversight, but also Maddie has shown herself to be a consummate professional with excellent communication skills and she is fully invested in the success of our students and Pioneer Athletics."

In addition to her roles in Compliance and Academic Services, Seaver will assume oversight of TWU Athletics camps and clinics. She will also have direct program oversight, where she will supervise professional staff.

Seaver has also served as the TWU Student Athletic Advisory Committee Staff Advisor for the 2022-23 academic year, overseeing a record-breaking year for the organization in which they finished third across all Division II organizations in community service—their highest finish in history. Furthermore, SAAC also received the Glenda Brock Simmons Student Organization Community Service Award at the annual TWU Redbud Awards, being honored for their commitment to service.

Over the past year, SAAC has been committed in word and action to engaging at a higher level on campus, in the Lone Star Conference and nationally, which they maintain as Seaver continues to serve as their advisor.

"I am thrilled to be stepping into this new role under the exceptional guidance and leadership of Sandee Mott," Seaver said. "I am honored to have been provided with this great opportunity to continue to support and serve our student-athletes, coaches, staff and community and I look forward to the exciting future ahead of us."

Prior to coming to TWU in 2022, Seaver worked as the Assistant Athletic Director for Student Services at the University of North Texas for two years. In her time in athletics and higher education, she has also served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance at Angelo State and the Director of Advising at Howard College.

Seaver received a bachelor's, master's, and a graduate certificate from Angelo State, where she was a three-time all-Lone Star Conference honoree and two-time All-America selection in volleyball.
