Two Sport Administrators Added to NCAA Division I Sports Committees

West Point, NY – The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has announced two Army West Point staff members to be appointed as members of various Sports Committees.

Tricia Brandenburg, Executive Associate Athletics Director & Senior Woman Administrator will serve on the Division I Wrestling Championships Committee. Brandenburg supervises several sports and oversees the areas of Sports Medicine, Strength & Conditioning, and Nutrition. She also currently serves on the NCAA Infractions Committee. 

Abigail Howard, Senior Associate Athletics Director & Corporate Counsel will serve on the Division I Swimming and Diving Rules Committee. Howard brings her legal expertise and experience in college athletics administration as well as USA Swimming. She currently serves as the Sport Administrator for three sports at Army West Point. Additionally, she was a four-year letter-winner on the women's swimming and diving team at the Ohio State University.

These recent appointees join fellow Army West Point staff members who currently serve in the following committees:

Mike Buddie, Director of Athletics	Chair, Baseball Championship Committee
Sydney Griffin, Associate Athletics Director, External Strategy & Operations	Cross Country & Track and Field Championships Committee
Allison Wright, Special Assistant to the Director of Athletics	Chair, Men's Gymnastics Championship Committee

The NCAA features committees for every sponsored sport at the Division I, II and III levels. Committees are comprised of representatives from member schools and conferences which include university presidents, athletics directors, coaches, student-athletes, faculty & staff, and conference office personnel.
