Coaching Change in Men's Basketball

Cal Poly Humboldt will soon begin a national search for new leadership for its Men's Basketball program. Among the top priorities for the new coach will be academic excellence, positive mentoring, community outreach, and competitive performance on the court.

A recent investigation of Men's Basketball is ongoing. Lumberjack Basketball has a tradition of success as well as strong involvement by alumni and the community. Humboldt is committed to recruiting a coach who can continue that legacy.

Coach Tae Norwood's contract was not renewed. An open recruitment will begin imminently. Norwood coached the team for the last three seasons and posted an overall record of 28-36.
