TCU Announces Kramer as Associate AD/Director of the Block T Association

Horned Frogs' Hall of Famer and former coach returns to her alma mater

FORT WORTH -- TCU Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Jeremiah Donati has announced the hiring of Jill Kramer as Associate Athletics Director/Director of the Block T Association.

Kramer will be responsible for donor solicitation, membership growth and overseeing operations for TCU's Block T Association, including administration of the TCU Athletics Hall of Fame.

"We are very excited to welcome Jill back home to TCU," Donati said. "As a Hall of Fame student-athlete and former head coach for us, Jill has a unique insight into TCU and established relationships with many of our donors and past student-athletes in all sports. She is a perfect fit for our University Advancement and Frog Club teams. Jill's deep connections in the TCU community will enable us to further engage with our past letterwinners and enhance our fundraising efforts as a whole."

Kramer was the first volleyball scholarship student-athlete at TCU and a 2007 inductee into its Athletics Hall of Fame. She served as the Horned Frogs' head volleyball coach from 2015-2021, leading the program to four postseason appearances which included trips to the NCAA Tournament in 2015 and 2016. The 2015 campaign was highlighted by a 3-0 sweep of No. 2 Texas for the first win over a top-10 opponent in program history. Her 100th career win as a head coach came in a 3-1 victory over Wichita State in the first round of the 2016 NCAA Tournament.

"It is with great honor, humility and joy that I accept the role of Associate Athletics Director/Director of the Block T Association," Kramer said. "I'm grateful to Jeremiah Donati, (Vice Chancellor for University Advancement) Don Whelan and Frog Club leadership for their support and entrusting me to guide the association.

"I will work diligently to continue to build and grow the association and am eager to engage with our former and current student-athletes in some new and exciting ways. Due to the hard work and dedication of those who have come before us, the Block T Association permeates with tradition and belonging. For many of us, the relationships we built through sports at TCU are one of the key foundations of our lives, intrinsic to everything we do and everything we are. The support we give one another can continue to grow and develop throughout our lives and the lives of those who follow. I'm looking forward to 'plant trees we'll never see' with y'all."

Kramer also served as head volleyball coach at West Virginia for five seasons (2010-14) and was an assistant coach at Virginia, Alabama and UTSA while also being heavily involved with USA Volleyball.

A native of San Antonio, Kramer earned a bachelor of business administration degree from TCU in 2000. She resides in Fort Worth with her husband, Willem.
